Estive à espera do resultado da biópsia e da punção lombar que ontem fiz para poder aqui contar mais um pouco destas coisas. A biópsia é feita sob anestesia geral e aproveitaram para me fazer também a punção. Felizmente acordei bem e vim para casa sem problemas. Hoje já recebemos os resultados preliminares que são animadores com os níveis de células cancerígenas a não serem visíveis, o que significa que estão muito baixas. Dou entrada no IPO àmanhã, dia 10 de Janeiro, para uma nova dose de quimioterapia que durará 5 dias. É a terceira. Como tenho estado em casa ganhei mais peso e já tenho outra vez bochechas como as desta fotografia aqui ao lado. Tenho sentido muito perto as orações de todos os que me visitam aqui no blog mesmo os que não deixam nada escrito. Mil obrigados. Hoje faz 20 anos que o meu tio Pedro foi chamado para Deus e eu sei que lá do Céu ele olha por mim. À noite, à conversa com Nossa Senhora e o Menino Jesus peço-lhes também pelas intenções que me são confiadas.

I was waiting for the results of the biopsy and lumbar punction I did yesterday to come here to share them with you. The biopsy is done under general anestesia. I woke up fine and came home. We have already received the preliminary results which are very encouraging for on the basic microscope there are no visible cancer cells: this means their number is very low. Tomorrow, January 10th, I go back to the hospital for my third chemio which will last 5 days. Since I have been home, I gained some weight and I have rosy cheeks like the ones in the picture. I have felt very close the prayers of those who have visited me in this blog even those who do not leave any messages. Thank you for that. Today is the 20th anniversary of my uncle Pedro's departure to God and I know that from heaven he looks after me. At night, when I chat with Our Lady and the Baby Jesus I too tell them about the intentions entrusted to me.
