Obrigado.

We are all getting used to the ups and downs of cancer. When we were hoping to spend a few days home resting and enjoying family life, Marta caught a fever. Following doctors' orders, we left for the hospital at night, expecting Marta would be admitted again, thus anticipating the start of the next chemotherapy session. After the result of the blood analysis, she ended up getting a particular antibiotic and was sent home for the night. We trust the initial plan will forward: two more nights at home. However, this afternoon at 3:30 PM, we will go back to the hospital for some more tests and antibiotics.

Marta's mother has asked that Martim thank through this blog the many touching and beautiful messages she has been getting on her mobile phone. She has found it difficult to answer them in good time.

We all realize that the many prayers that we have received have been giving us strength and comfort.

Dear Martinha,

A short but a strong quote, indeed

“Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.”

And all together, we shall win.
